Invitation
Scholars, academics, researchers, students, and members of the general public are cordially invited to participate in the Wisdom Class and Character Intelligence Programme, an integral component of the Unisophy Educational Project.
The programme will hold every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at WISDOM HPL, Km 32, Badagry Expressway, Morogbo–Agbara, Lagos, Nigeria. It will also reach a wider audience through major social media platforms, extending opportunities for intellectual engagement and learning beyond the physical venue.
The Wisdom Class is designed to provide a sustained platform for intellectual engagement, critical inquiry, interdisciplinary learning, and the practical application of knowledge to human affairs. Its central objective is to promote the pursuit of Truth, the cultivation of Wisdom, the development of ethical Character, and the responsible application of intelligence for human advancement.
The teachings will explore the fundamental principles of Wisdom, Truth, Character Intelligence, ethical values, leadership, governance, and human relationships. They will also examine the relationship between Medical Sciences and Environmental and Human Health Sciences, highlighting their complementary contributions to scientific advancement, environmental protection, disease prevention, and the promotion of human health and well-being.
Through rigorous inquiry and interdisciplinary engagement, the Wisdom Class will investigate how Wisdom, scientific understanding, and ethical Character can contribute to solving human problems, improving decision-making, strengthening leadership and governance, and advancing sustainable human development and civilization.
At the intellectual core of the programme is a fundamental principle: the acquisition of knowledge and the advancement of intelligence, on their own, do not guarantee meaningful human progress. Intelligence must be guided by Wisdom, knowledge informed by Truth, and human conduct governed by ethical Character. Their integration provides a foundation for responsible intelligence, sound judgement, human excellence, and the constructive application of knowledge for the common good.
The programme will further encourage participants to examine established ideas critically, engage with diverse fields of knowledge, and pursue a deeper understanding of the principles governing human conduct, society, nature, and the broader order of existence. It seeks to foster intellectual independence, ethical responsibility, and a commitment to applying knowledge towards the improvement of humanity.
The Wisdom Class is an invitation to scholars, professionals, students, and all persons committed to learning and human development to participate in a continuing educational initiative dedicated to the pursuit of Truth, the cultivation of Wisdom, the advancement of Character Intelligence, and the promotion of a more enlightened, ethical, and progressive civilization.
